PMI established and contributes generously each year to
PMI has been a pioneer in developing affordable housing solutions for low- to moderate-income borrowers in the United States and is working to share that expertise around the globe.
PMI also supports employees' efforts to contribute to their local communities. For example, in the United States, employees at PMI headquarters adopt hundreds of children in foster care to provide gifts for the holiday season.
PMI matched employee disaster relief contributions five to one following the 2004 tsunami in Southeast Asia and again when Hurricanes Katrina and Rita hit the Gulf Coast of the United States. Our response to the hurricanes was part of an innovative package that included a donation of single-family homes and a grant to Habitat for Humanity for rebuilding.
We're proud that our efforts have been recognized. In the United States, PMI received the Good Business Award from a local business journal in recognition of the company's commitment to combining business success with good corporate citizenship.
