A Best Place to Work
PMI – One of the Best Places to Work in the Bay Area
In the 2007 survey of Best Places to Work in the Bay Area, PMI ranks for the third consecutive year in the Big Company category (companies with 501-3000 employees). Sponsored by the San Francisco Business Times, East Bay Business Times, and Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal (April 27, 2007), the overall survey measured feedback from approximately 160,000 employees at over 450 diverse Bay Area companies.
Our, employees’ strong agreement with the following contributed to PMI’s nomination:
- I am always thinking about ways to do my job better.
- I understand how my job helps the organization achieve success.
- I feel loyal to my immediate team or work group.
- I believe this organization will be successful in the future.
- I understand the company’s plans for future success.
- The leaders of this organization demonstrate integrity.
- I trust the senior leadership team to lead the company to future success.
- I believe the leaders of this organization are honest and trustworthy.
- I have a close and trusting relationship with one or more coworkers.
- The people I work with most closely are committed to producing top-quality work.
“We try to make sure that our employees believe in the work that we do, and that they understand how their jobs contribute to the company’s success. We always hear from our employees that they like working here because we are so socially conscious. They know that there has to be more in this world than just making money. We have to be able to give back to the communities where we live and work.”
