The quarterly ERET report includes commentary on the national economy and regional housing price trends. A popular feature is the U.S. Market Risk Index, which projects risk scores for 384 of the nation's most populated Metropolitan Statistical Areas (MSAs). The risk score for each MSA projects the probability that the price of homes in that MSA will on average be lower at the end of the next two years.
