How do I register for online counseling?

Once I register, when will I receive my email confirmation with details?

A

If you register by 3:30 pm PST Monday-Friday, you will receive a confirmation email that evening. If you register after 3:30 pm PST or on a weekend, you will receive a confirmation email the evening of the following business day.

I registered, but never received my confirmation email. Why?

A

First, check your junk/bulk/spam email folder. Look for an email from sysgen@lrn.com.  If you’re unable to locate the confirmation email, you can arrange to have it resent. Simply visit the HBE website at https://pmiohe-lcec.lrn.com/index.html.  In the “Forgot Your Password Feature” box, enter the email address you registered with in the “Borrower1 Email” field and click “Continue” (note: “User Name” not required). Your confirmation email will immediately be re-sent.

What do I do if I forgot my password?

A

Visit the HBE website at https://pmiohe-lcec.lrn.com/index.html.  In the “Forgot Your Password Feature” box, enter the email address you registered with in the “Borrower1 Email” field and click “Continue” (note: “User Name” not required). Your confirmation email, including your password, will immediately be re-sent.

How do I get a copy of my certificate?

A

PMI is unable to access a borrower’s certificate and certificates cannot be emailed.  Borrowers must print their own certificates. Please log back in to the HBE website at https://pmiohe-lcec.lrn.com/index.html and click on “My Records”, then “Completion Certificates”.

My certificate has my name spelled incorrectly. How can it be fixed?

A

Please send an email to hbe_support@pmigroup.com indicating the spelling correction. Changes will be made that same business day and you will be notified to log back in to the HBE website to print your certificate.

How can I change the profile information I entered during registration?

A

Please send an email to hbe_support@pmigroup.com with your desired changes. Changes will be made that same business day and you will receive an email notifying you of the changes to your profile.

I have read through the online course, but cannot access the quiz. What should I do?

A

First, make sure that you are logged in to the course at https://pmiohe-lcec.lrn.com/index.html. There should be a check mark to the right of all completed chapters under “Contents” (including “Introduction”). If you are still experiencing problems, please send an email to hbe_support@pmigroup.com for further assistance.

Why do I get an error message when I click “get started” in the course?

A

Usually this occurs if you have pop-up blocker software. Disable your pop-up blocker or try completing the course from another computer. For additional assistance, please contact your internet provider.

Is Landlord HBE available online?

A

Landlord counseling is not available online and must be completed by phone. Please visit http://www.pmi-us.com/emerging_markets/request-book.html for further details.
